Macrodosing
I reached out to Locker Room Wellness because I had no idea where to start with finding a legitimate mushroom therapy retreat. They showed me options in Colorado and connected me with Do Good Ranch. It was great to get briefed on what to expect, how the process worked, and how to prepare leading up to the retreat because I really had no idea what something like this was supposed to be like. Once I got to the retreat, I followed the flow of the weekend and leaned into everything happening. There was group talk therapy, sauna, cold plunge, breathwork, education, great food, and a beautiful setting in Crawford, Colorado. The ceremony itself was beautiful, but also a tough battle. I came out of it feeling like a new person and found help in areas I never expected. I’ve had a lot of head injuries that contributed to alcohol dependency, stress, brain fog, trouble communicating with my wife, and feeling like I was just going through the motions of life. The experience gave me a completely new outlook on life, along with a plan to keep working on myself after leaving the ranch. It was such a special experience, and I’m grateful Locker Room Wellness gave me guidance and connected me with the right place when I had no idea where to begin.

MicrodosingDemo story
Month one was subtle. Month three, my afternoon anxiety spikes just... flattened. I track everything in my journal here and the pattern is undeniable.

Six months into a microdosing practice

Around the fireRetreat experiencesDemo story
The retreat cracked the door open. The eight weeks of integration circles after it are what actually changed how I parent my kids.

After a guided retreat weekend

MacrodosingDemo story
I spent a year preparing with a facilitator before one deeper experience. It was not magic — it was the hardest honest conversation I have ever had with myself.

One intentional macrodose, supported

MicrodosingDemo story
I stopped chasing a feeling and started building a routine. Microdosing was one ingredient. Sleep, running, and this community were the rest.

Microdosing + morning runs

IntegrationDemo story
Everyone talks about the ceremony. Nobody warns you about the Tuesday three weeks later when the old grief comes back up. The integration group caught me.

Integration after her first ceremony

First retreat I white-knuckled it. Second one I actually let go. The difference was trusting the people around the fire. That is what this place is.

What changed everything was not doing it alone. Same path, different stories, one locker room.

Quit drinking, then the cigarettes

IntegrationDemo story
Integration was the word I didn't know I needed. The experience was one weekend; the work was the six months after. That's where the nicotine actually left.

Daily vaper for 6 years

I quit smoking the month I started a careful microdosing practice with breathwork every morning. The cigarettes just stopped making sense to my body. Two years clean.

Smoked a pack a day for 18 years

Around the fireMicrodosingDemo story
Nobody promised me anything, and I'm glad they didn't. What I found here was people who got it. Journaling plus a meditation practice — the cravings lost their grip around month three.

Veteran, nicotine since deployment

MicrodosingDemo story
I thought quitting was about willpower. Turns out it was about understanding what the cigarette was doing for me. Once I saw it clearly, I was done.

Priya, 29

Social smoker for a decade

Around the fireMicrodosingDemo story
I came in skeptical and left my first community call feeling like I'd been at a retreat campfire. People just tell the truth here.
