What integration actually means
Most of the meaningful work happens before and after an experience, not during it.

Integration is the unglamorous half of this conversation, and in our community it is the half people say mattered most.
The idea is simple. An experience — a retreat, a therapy breakthrough, a hard week, a meditation course — can show you something. Integration is what turns that into an actual change in how you live.
In practice it usually looks like: writing things down, talking to a therapist, changing one concrete behaviour, repairing one relationship, sleeping properly, and giving it months rather than days.
A caution worth stating plainly: "integration coach" is not a protected professional title. Anyone can use it. Ask about training, supervision, scope of practice, and what they do when something is beyond their competence.
